You're Sublime

Stampin' Up! has come out with the cutest stamp set, You're Sublime.  This stamp set is sure to put a smile on anyone's face.  For this week's card I decided to make a tall, skinny card that would easily fit into any standard number 10 envelope.  Here is my card:

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to be 9-1/4" x 8" and score it at 4".  The layers are 1/4" smaller from the previous layer.

For the patterned paper, I did use last year's Regals DSP stack, which has been retired.  Stampin' Up! has replaced it with Regals Color Collection DSP stack #138436.  There is an Always Artichoke and white polka dot paper in the stack that would work beautifully.   I love these "go to" DSP stacks and am trying to use up what I have.

Since my card was so long and I used the Little Letter thinlits, the sentiment underneath the toad was a little out of proportion.  To remedy that, I simply used a stamp out of Amazing Birthday and fussy cut out the word "Amazing".    This just shows you that you can use the stamps for more than they were originally intended.

Below is a list of items I used for this cute, long card:

You're Sublime stamp set #139309

Amazing Birthday stamp set #134228
Mossy Meadow card stock #133676
Mossy Meadow ink #133645
Whisper White card stock #100730
Regals DSP stack RETIRED (see note above)
Stampin' Write Markers #131264
Little Letters Thinlits #133730
2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch #118874
2" Circle punch #133782
Standard #10 envelope

Quick and Easy Thank You Card

Are you like me and always in the need for a thank you card?  Well, here is the card for you!  This card uses Stampin' Up! note cards with matching envelopes.  The note cards are a nice, slightly heavier card stock than Whisper White, so it's perfect for cards with or without a lot of layers.  Not only is this card easy to whip up, but it uses up some of that washi tape that we all seem to have in our stash.

This isn't my idea, but rather the idea that I CASEd from Brenda Quintana. Thank you Brenda!!!

Here is the list of supplies that I used for this quick and easy Thank You Card:

Stampin' Up Note Cards with Envelopes, Whisper White #131527
Sassy Salutations stamp set #126707
Cherry on Top DSP #138443
Cherry on Top Washi Tape #138384
Cucumber Crush ink #138324
Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack #133787
Envelope Liner Framelits #132172
Basic Rhinestone Jewels #119246

I hope you enjoyed this card and if you would like to purchase any of the products, simply click on the item above and you'll be whisked away to my online store.  When making your purchases during the month of July 2015, please use the following hostess code:  99ZZUE74.   Just a reminder, if your order is over $150, please do not use the hostess code, but rather redeem the Stampin' Rewards with your order.
